Nieman Marcus Cookies
Made popular by an email chain, this cookie has gained its second wave of popularity thanks to New York Times Cooking.
These cookies have a warm flavour thanks to the oat flour and grated chocolate! You can easily make oat flour by blending oats into a fine powder.
I used hazelnuts instead of walnuts since I really like Nutella (LOL!). The espresso also added more depth to these cookies, I mean, who doesn’t love chocolate+coffee+hazelnuts?
What else would you add? What type of nuts would you try in this cookie?

Have you ever tried Mary MacLeod’s shortbread before? It’s sold in a lot of stores in Canada. I’ve tried it once and it was really good! However, I can’t justify the price tag of these cookies (around $2 per cookie). It’s good that making these is pretty easy~
These cookies are very rich and buttery, while not being overly sweet! I really enjoyed the dark chocolate ones rather than the milk chocolate. What chocolate would you try to pair with these?
Let me know if you enjoyed this!

Cute and easy to make biscuits that look high-effort without requiring much energy to make.
They’re perfect if you don’t like your biscuits too sweet, enjoy coffee, and/or don’t have baking soda or powder on hand. They’re also the perfect size to snack on!

A beautiful earl grey cake paired with a bright lemon frosting.
I made this for a friend’s birthday since he’s a big fan of tea, I felt that an Earl Grey cake would be a great surprise!
The Earl Grey butter infusion really brings the depth of flavour out in this cake. If I didn’t infuse the tea and butter together, the flavour would have been really weak. Also, make sure you grind the tea into a fine powder since chewing on leaf bits would not create an ideal experience.
Top with sprinkles or lemon peels, what ever sparks the most joy~

Crispy, crunchy, and high in protein! A wonderful snack that’ll have you eating the whole box before you even know it!
All my friends loved this recipe since it’s bright, thanks to the orange, and relatively filling thanks to all the nuts and buckwheat.
What else would you add? I think oats, coconut flakes, or hazelnuts would make lovely additions.
Let me know if you enjoyed this!

My best friend absolutely lemon desserts. Currently, she is pretty enamoured with this loaf cake.
I modified the a lemon loaf recipe to include poppyseeds and some tangerine for a better overall citrus depth.
I hope you enjoy this as much as she did!
